Huge congratulations to Hannah Ferris on securing her NHLBI F31 fellowship on her first submission, an exceptional accomplishment. Hannah’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying pericyte contractility in the arteriole-to-capillary transition zone. Her work aims to define how pressure-induced constriction is regulated in this critical region for blood flow control, and how these mechanisms contribute to disease-driven vascular dysregulation. Outstanding job, Hannah!
