The Dabertrand Lab raised the Anesthesiology Department colors high at the American Physiology Summit 2026 in Minneapolis, which brought together over 3,000 attendees. From the 3 PhD candidates, Phinea Romero opened the proceedings with a presentation selected from abstracts, receiving the CNS Section Research Distinction Award. Mayra Bueno Guerrero, invited speaker of the cerebral blood flow symposium, delivered a talk that shone bright among seasoned, world-class scientists. Hannah Ferris received the prestigious Van Harreveld Memorial Award along with an Abstract of Distinction, resulting in a platform presentation. Finally, recently minted Dr. Danielle Jeffrey was among the three finalists for the Outstanding Graduate Student Award and, after delivering a great talk, brought the trophy home. Their mentor, Dr. Fabrice Dabertrand, could not be more grateful and proud.
