The Dabertrand Lab raised the Anesthesiology Department colors high at the American Physiology Summit 2026 in Minneapolis, which brought together over 3,000 attendees. From the 3 PhD candidates, Phinea Romero opened the proceedings with presentation selected from abstracts, receiving the CNS Section Research Distinction Award. Mayra Bueno Guerrero, invited speaker of the cerebral blood flow symposium, delivered a talk that shone bright among seasoned, world-class scientists. Hannah Ferris received the prestigious Van Harreveld Memorial Award along with an Abstract of Distinction, resulting in a platform presentation. Finally, recently minted Dr. Danielle Jeffrey was among the three finalists for the Outstanding Graduate Student Award and, after delivering an great talk, brought the trophy home. Their mentor, Dr. Fabrice Dabertrand, could not be more grateful and proud.
