Graduate Student
I’m a student in the Pharmacology and Molecular Medicine PhD program. My research looks at the contribution of brain capillary pericytes to the regulation of cerebral blood flow, and my project highlights dysfunctional ion channels on the pericyte cell membrane during chronic hypertension and cognitive decline. I received my B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Hamilton College and my M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of Vermont. When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, running and attempting not to kill plants.
