Huge congratulations to Phinea Romero whose F31 was recently funded by NHLBI! She is investigating the molecular basis of neurovascular coupling disruption in a mouse model of autism spectrum disorder. Her work will provide key mechanistic insights to the vascular contribution to neurodevelopmental disorders, and hopefully the foundation for a novel therapeutic avenue. Way to go, Phinea!
