Jenn is an alumnus of the University of Colorado Denver, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology and minor in Neuroscience in 2019. She completed her PhD at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2024 where she studied the intrinsic properties of gonadotropin releasing-hormone (GnRH) neurons in the hypothalamus across development and in an animal model of polycystic ovary syndrome. After her PhD, Jenn joined the University of Colorado as a postdoctoral fellow. Her postdoc focused on studying the molecular mechanisms implicated in first-wave folliculogenesis in the ovary. She joined the Garcia and Dabertrand Labs in 2026 as Research Scientist. Her work in the Garcia and Dabertrand Labs focuses on understanding how energy production sustains brain capillary endothelial function and how disruptions to these systems contribute to small vessel diseases (SVDs).

 In her free time, Jenn likes exploring new bookstores and coffee shops, being outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with her siblings and dog!
